Rolling Stone pays tribute to the late great Adam Yauch in the new issue, on sale May 25th. The cover story delves into the Beastie Boys rapper’s complicated, fascinating life and untimely death. In a pair of web exclusives, Yauch’s bandmates Adam Horovitz and Mike Diamond speak out for the first time on the death of their friend and partner.

Glad to see Adam “MCA” Yauch get a magazine cover for his music contributions to the Beastie Boys and hip-hop as a whole. It just sucks that hip-hop magazines and magazines in general didn’t pay homage to Heavy D or Guru with a cover when they passed.

Here’s a really great 30-minute Fresh Air interview from 2003 where Donna Summer talks about producer Giorgio Moroder, her discomfort with becoming a ’70s sex symbol, and what she listened to as the “Q of D” (some of her answers are delightfully surprising).
